Senior Profit & Cost Modelling Consultant
Job description
You will be the business expert for delivery of costing and profitability projects for and with our customers. Based in the UK with some foreign travel, you will perform the lead project management role with the customer, making decisions about the design of the costing and profitability architecture, supervising and participating in the implementation of the model and facilitating the data sourcing and load. Based on the engagement, you may be required to interpret model results and identify and work with the customer to implement profit improvement initiatives.

Profile:
- CIMA qualified and/or 2:1 or above honours degree in economics, commercial engineering, statistics, business finance (or similar with emphasis on finance)
- You have at least 7 years of relevant experience in costing- and profitability management and modeling ideally in a consulting role.
- Any project related work involving cost-to-serve, pricing, product rationalisation, internal cost allocation etc would be useful
- You have experience of various ICT systems, especially ERPs (SAP, Oracle, Infor, JD Edwards etc), and databases
- Knowledge of SQL and OLAP tools is an advantage
- Fluent in English
- You have the necessary competences to carry out your tasks in an independent and autonomous way and you have a professional assertiveness
- You are a team player, you have an analytical spirit and a customer-oriented mentality
- You can cope with conflicting demands and you have the necessary communication skills
- You are willing to travel frequently
- Managerial capabilities, enthusiasm, positivity, perseverance, creativity and professionalism are essential conditions
